Fresh Produce

Veggies, Fruits, and Herbs

Our row crops include wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. What’s available at any given time depends entirely on the season.

Our farming practices are “beyond organic,” meaning we use a variety of age-old methods to grow food and maintain our fields, such as cover-cropping, crop rotation, integrated pest management, composting, inter-planting and good old-fashioned hand-weeding.

We are a low-till farm, believing that the less we disturb the soil, the healthier the soil microbiome will be. We leave roots in the ground to decompose when we clear finished crops, which helps enrich the soil. We manage pests by companion planting, using row covers and netting to protect plants, and encouraging natural predators.

Pecans

Pecans, the pride of our orchard, are esteemed for their rich, buttery flavor, and versatility. They are a cornerstone in traditional Southern hospitality and cuisine.

Pecans are a beloved staple in Southern cuisine, adding depth and texture to an array of dishes. Whether toasted and sprinkled over salads, incorporated into savory stuffing, or featured in decadent pecan pies, these treasures from our orchard elevate every part of the meal with their distinctive taste and crunch.

Grown with care and harvested with pride, our pecans reflect our commitment to quality and sustainability. Join us in savoring the bounty of our orchard and experience the true essence of Southern flavor in every delectable bite of our premium pecans.

Elderberries

Elderberries grace our farm with their irresistible flavor and countless uses. We grow three varieties—Adams, Bob Gordon, and Wyldewood.

Adams, renowned for its abundant clusters of small, intensely flavored berries, delights with its robust taste perfect for jams, syrups, and wines. Bob Gordon, a newer cultivar prized for its large, juicy berries, boasts a sweet-tart flavor profile ideal for pies, preserves, and herbal teas. Wyldewood, with its vigorous growth and high yields, offers a balance of sweet and tangy notes, making it a favorite for juices, tinctures, and baked goods.
